Aranyvackor children’s illustration

This series was created for the Aranyvackor children’s illustration contest, based on the tale Dreams of Hanitkai by Győri Aliz. The story follows a princess who grows up believing her dreams truly come to life, as each morning the kingdom reenacts them on the king’s command—a bittersweet fairy tale about imagination and truth. Other illustrations from the project explore whimsical details of the royal world, like the king confiding in his favorite pulsatilla flowers, or a towering pile of paperwork that could collapse with a single sigh. Through these moments, I aimed to capture both the fantasy and playful humor that make children’s tales so memorable.
